• Nutrition and food logging data you enter
• Health and fitness information (including data from Apple HealthKit, if you grant permission)
• Device information and usage data
• Meal photos (only when you use the AI analysis feature)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide and improve MacroLogic’s features, including:
• Calorie and macro tracking
• AI meal analysis
• Personalized nutrition insights and trends

3. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell your personal data or nutrition/health data to any third parties.
We do not share your personal nutrition or health data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share limited data with trusted service providers only as necessary to operate the App (e.g., cloud hosting, authentication, AI processing).

4. Data Storage

Your data may be stored using:
• Apple CloudKit (for syncing across your devices)
• Firebase (for authentication and account management)

5. AI Photo Analysis

When you upload a photo for AI analysis, the image is temporarily sent to our secure processing service. We do not store meal photos long-term unless you explicitly choose to save the meal with the attached photo.

6. Children’s Privacy

MacroLogic complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). MacroLogic is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
